CoEnzyme Q10 from RBC Life Sciences

Co-Q10

Feed your muscles! Coenzyme Q-10 enzyme is found in muscle cells. It is essential to the production of energy. High concentrations are needed by the heart and other muscles as well as the immune system. Natrual levels decline with age. Coenzyme Q-10 has been a longtime favorite dietary supplement in Japan.

What is Coenzyme Q10?
Coenzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant that is used by the body to help transform your food into energy. It is needed for the healthy function of every cell in the body. It is essential for the production of energy at the cellular level.

What is Coenzyme Q10 formulated to do?
RBC’s Coenzyme Q10 is designed to give you a high quality source of this nutrient so you can experience its many benefits.

Who may benefit from Coenzyme Q10?

Our body’s ability to synthesize the Coenzyme Q-10 that we require may decline in our mid-30’s, so anyone past this age can benefit from supplementation.

How is Coenzyme Q10 used? One capsule is taken daily with a meal.

Ninety-five percent of the energy we need is produced inside our cells and coenzyme Q-10 must be present within each cell for this to occur. Because it is vital to our body’s production of energy, coenzyme Q-10 is required in high concentrations by the heart, the liver and the cells of the immune system. The heart requires a constant supply of energy and, therefore, may be unusually susceptible to the effects of a coenzyme Q-10 deficiency. Over the past 15 years, the great bulk of clinical work with coenzyme Q-10 has focused on heart health.

Studies show that a co Q-10 deficiency of only 25% is a cause for concern. Correcting this deficiency supports the functions of our organs and enhances overall health.

Why CoEnzyme Q10?
Your SMILE & HEART May Depend On It!
By Todd N. Thompson M.S.,P.T.

Good oral health is essential to looking and feeling your best. For a healthy smile that will last a lifetime, you need to take preventative care of your teeth and gums. Gingivitis and Periodontitis will affect 60% of all young adults and 90% of all individuals over age 65.

Although proper oral hygiene and regular Dental exams are important, deficiencies of certain nutrients may lead to chronic gingivitis that can require surgery and result in the eventual loss of teeth. The healthy protection, maintenance and repair of periodontal tissue is dependent on a regular supply of essential nutrients. One such essential nutrient is CoEnzyme Q10, also known as Ubiquinone.

CoEnzyme Q10 can be made by the body under usual circumstances, but with advancing age the body begins to lose its ability to supply CoQ10.1 In addition, foods normally high in natural CoQ10 are robbed of this essential nutrient during food processing and preserving.2 With this it becomes imperative to supplement your body’s supply of CoQ10.

Deficiencies of CoQ10 have been found to exist in many clinical conditions including periodontal disease, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and even obesity. Daily supplementation of oral CoQ10, has been shown to have a beneficial affect on many health problems:

u Improves periodontal scores, including reduced gingival pocket depth, swelling, bleeding, redness, pain, exudate, and looseness of teeth.3

u Immune stimulation: Several studies have documented immune enhancing effects.4

u Has shown "very impressive" acceleration of healing of periodontal disease.4

u In an open clinical trial, produced "extraordinary" post surgical healing(2-3 time faster) in patients with advanced periodontal disease.5

u Cardiovascular Disease: Heart muscle samples tested in patients with various heart diseases showed a deficiency in 50-70% of the cases. Animal studies have shown that supplemental CoQ10 can reduce the amount of heart damage from a heart attack.6

u Congestive Heart Failure(CHF): Studies have shown that 30mg of CoQ10 per day significantly reduces CHF symptoms while increasing cardiac output strength, pump volume, ejection fraction and cardiac index.7

u Hypertension: 60mg of CoQ10 per day for 8 weeks has been shown to produce a significant decrease in blood pressure.8

u Obesity: Studies indicate that 50% of all obese individuals may be CoQ10 deficient and that supplementation with CoQ10(100mg per day) can accelerate their weight loss.9

As with any oral supplement, the body’s ability to absorb the vital nutrients contained will ultimately determine its efficacy. By drinking HydraCel enhanced water when taking CoQ10, and all supplements, you are assured to get the most benefit from these nutrients. The RBC's Nanocluster® Technology increases absorption of all nutrients by 300%, thereby amplifying their health benefits.
