GlobeNet Changes Name To Royal BodyCare
Irving, Texas (November 19, 1999) - GlobeNet International I, Inc., a public holding company identified by the former stock symbol GNII (OTC:BB), announced that, following board and shareholder approval, it has changed its name to Royal BodyCare, Inc.. It's new stock symbol is ROBE (OTC:BB).
The company also redomesticated from Delaware to Nevada.
Clinton Howard, CEO, stated, "All significant operations of the company are conducted under the name Royal BodyCare in the USA, Canada, and in seven foreign offices.
We believe the name change will help people who are familiar with the operating companies to recognize the public holding company. We will use the name GlobeNet only for the telecommunications and internet web site services we provide our Members."
Royal BodyCare Sales Increase In Third Quarter
Irving, Texas (November 19, 1999) - Royal BodyCare, Inc. revenue in the quarter ended September 30, 1999 was $8,374,000 with a net loss of $18,000 ($.00) per share, compared to revenue of $7,700,000 and net income of $245,000 ($.02 per share) in the same period of 1998.
Revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 1999 was $24,966,000, an increase of 31% over revenue of $19,069,000 for the same period in 1998. Net income for the nine month period ended September 30, 1999 was $505,000 ($.04 per share), a 421% increase over net income of $97,000 ($.01 per share) in the same period of 1998.
Royal BodyCare develops technically advanced nutritional supplements, primarily antioxidants, marketed through distributors in nine countries and on its internet web site, www.royalbodycare.org.
