SLS-Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is  a wetting agent  that allows shampoo 
to spread out and penetrate more easily. It is found in shampoos and some
deodorants and cosmetics. It has been  found to  increase  the absorbtion
of certain chemicals.  It can actually damage the outer layer of the skin, 
the   stratum   coreum   outer     [layer of the skin],  causing  dryness,
roughness, scaliness,  fissuring, loss  of  flexibility and  reduction of
the barrier functions of normal healthy skin.  It can cause damage to the 
moisture retaining  ability at the cellular level resulting in water loss 
and loss of water-binding ability. { Cosmetic Science, C. Prottey, 1978 }  
It is a mutagen, which  means that it is capable of actually changing the 
information in genetic material found in the cells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Propylene Glycol is one of the most common humectants. It is used in many 
cosmetics including liquid  foundation, deodorants,  baby lotions, suntan 
lotions, emollients or moisturizers, lipsticks and suntan lotions.  It is 
also  found  in  most  shampoos and  conditioners and some soaps.  It has 
been linked with health problems such as contact dermatitis, autotoxicity,
kidney damage and liver abnormalities.

Hulda Clark Ph.D. links it  to different Cancers and other diseases.It is 
a component  of brake  fluid and anti-freeze. It originally was developed 
for use in industry as an anti-freeze, brake fluid,airplane de-icer among 
other applications.  It's been used in  the cosmetics for over 30 years!!
