Sales and Use Taxes Royal BodyCare (RBC) products, promotional materials, and shipping charges are subject to various sales and use taxes by local, county and state government agencies in the locations in which the Sales Associate does business. RBC will collect and pay these taxes based on the Suggested Retail Price of each product where applicable for each Member or Sales Associate if the Member or Sales Associate does not have a resale tax certificate or equivalent certificate showing tax-exempt status on file at the RBC Home Office. This service will be provided free of charge to the Member or Sales Associate. When a copy of the tax exempt certificate is on file at RBC, the Member or Sales Associate will no longer be charged sales tax on product ordered from RBC; however, the Member or Sales Associate will be solely liable for payment of all applicable sales and use taxes to the respective government agencies. Each Member and Sales Associate is responsible for knowing the laws and regulations of conducting business in his or her state and is liable for failure to comply. Legal Compliance Every Sales Associate shall comply with all federal, state and local statutes and regulations relating to the operation of his or her business. Failure to do so could result in the termination of the membership. |
